Putin is dangerous, because he is a KGB man who has killed fledging democracy in Russia, reverting it back to authoritarian rule, whose political opponents seem to be prone to be killed/arrested/poisoned or otherwise muzzled.

As to Bush, he is proof that idiots can be more dangerous than calculating “bad guys”
