For the record, the last plane crash in the U.S. involving a commercial airline occurred on March 1, 2004 and involved a US Airways Express (Air Midwest) Beech 1900D Turoprop departing from Charlotte, NC to Greenville-Spartanburg, SC. Nineteen passengers and two crew members were killed. I won't soon forget this, since one of the dead was a colleague of mine, who left a wife and three small children.
