Re: Still no reason

Laforce -- It is possible that I am stupid. It is also possible that I believe everything I see on TV. Especially the Cartoon Network.

But haven't you ever wondered if the Government and the Freemasons and the Bilderbergers and the CFR and whatnot are all so powerful, why are they not able to stop the various sorts of "Truthers" from exposing their conspiracies?

Well, I've got an idea that'll flip your lid, if you are able to consider it. What if that is precisely the point? What if the Gubment et al are really just like the Great and Powerful Oz, and the only power they really have lies in their ability to make people believe they are powerful? What if the government really is incompetent and can't do anything right, but their continued monopoly on power in the land is bolstered in part by the various myths and memes floating around (including conspiracy theories, spy novels, and high-tech weapon glorification flicks) that give people the IDEA that they are more powerful than they are? What if, in short, 9/11 Truthers are actually strengthening the government by convincing people that it has powers and abilities that it does not, in fact, have.

As conspiracy theorists are fond of saying when they hope they won't be asked to provide proof: "think about it, man." Look at the Truthers around you. Are you really so sure that none of them are, in fact, CIA operatives?? Certainly, "the powers that be" would have a vested interest in attempting to influence any movement as revolutionary and truthy as the 9/11 Truth movement. What better way to do so then to infect the movement with their lies. Think about it, man. And watch your ass. Just because you're paranoid, don't mean they're not after you.
