Re: "Hamas didn't run on a kill Israel platform

Right, ethnic cleansing, or population transfer if it makes you feel better. Genocide is another charge that has been made, but I don’t think you are ready for it.

If you can only believe what the Hamas leadership has stated then you are being selective because they have stated many things at different times. There is only one thing that you and the need an excuse to delay the peace process people hear though, and that is that there can be no peace with Israel.

Writing in bold capitals sure is a nice visual effect, but it doesn’t add to the strength of your argument. Why is it that Hamas has to change this ‘one little point’? Why not Israel changing the very big point of collective punishment against the population living within the occupied territories? The amount of suffering being inflicted by the Israel side is hugely disproportionate, but you can empathize with the Jews? Your lack of morality astounds me.

I doubt that you are naïve enough to believe that if Hamas were to re-publish its charter tomorrow without the destroy Israel part, Israel would enter into honest and genuine negotiations with Hamas. That is because Israel’s goal is not a negotiated solution as I discussed in my last post.
