The struggles with sin (adversity) that you mention will lead you only to DEATH unless you reframe from these SINS. You may get the point, but you need to look at their failures (these so called icons) and learn from there mistakes. You don't have to struggle alone. Jesus will hold your hand thru it all, you don't have to struggle alone.
