It's GWB's fault that his neocon foreign policy tactics have failed him so dramatically.

If he wants to declare Georgia as an ally, as the article described, he needed to have dealt with this issue years ago. Yet, he didn't - even though the pipelines running through the area are absolutely vital to the world's (and, by extension, America's) near-term energy plans.

Ultimately, it doesn't matter that the Soviets invaded with overwhelming force.. the time to focus on this issue was when there was an opening, not when the battle lines had been drawn. However, GWB and his minion morons were too focused on Iran for that.. yet, ironically, they have failed on both fronts.

I am pleased that this simply adds to the list of reasons why neocons should have zero influence on US foreign policy, both now and at any time in the future.
