The "Rockefeller" is a bad poster boy for men's rights. But there are counterparts on the feminist side, Lorenna Bobbit being perhaps the most famous example. Some feminists have rallied to the defense of women who killed their husbands while their husbands were sleeping, claiming that circumstances drove them to it. Amazingly, a substantial portion of the public accepted this.
