Language is as complex as biology. The second least complex usage of this tool is to tell other to shut up. However, your points are quite predictable. Maybe you should shut up.

Or address the issues Rosenbaum "raises," or the the ones he implies. Or you could just be honest in using terminology. For example: what effect does positive feedback have on complex systems? What effect does negative feedback have? Which promotes clarity? Or: In any complex system there are always more variables than can be accounted for. Does that mean, as you suggest, that all study is pointless? Non-linear mathmatical models generally lead to 3 states: chaos, flat, or florid trajectories with no limit cycles; sometimes called deterministic chaos, sometimes complexity. When trying to predict one of those outcomes in a system as complex as the atmosphere, wouldn't it be intelligent to avoid that chaotic state? Or are you just content to assume you have better data and interpretive abilities than tens of thousands of climatlologists?
