That's the thing isn't it?

I've run good sized businesses, had to deal with the public in the thousands, and it wasn't all roses. But I don't ever remember having the luxury of just telling them to stand over there and wait....we'll let you know...when it suits us.

There's so many things that airlines could do to make every body's life easier.

Would it kill them to wheel out a coffee and water service during delays. I know what that costs and I know what the 'logistics' are. It ain't that big of a thang.....So what if only 5 people wonder by and actually grab a beverage? The PR is huge. And then gee wiz..they could have a customer dervice person stand there and casually field questions for ten minute or so, even if all they did was smile and be publically nice....ten minutes.

There's tons of very low cost 'frills' airlines could provide. But the fact they don't proves...they just don't give a crap.

When a business is cut down to the bone this much they are headed for serious trouble. It's true in every business I've run and the airlines are no different. Look for a major govt bail out soon.
