I don't care. Bottomline is that the government IS restricting freedom. Evenif they think this is better in the long run, hell even if it IS better in the long run, it's still wrong in my book. I don't give the government a lot of leeway: enforce contract law, provide a common defense and GTFO of our lives. I'm a radical libertarian who believes the government is best that governs least and that at least half of the services the government currently provides should be provided by private organizations, opposes the welfare state and the nanny state, as well as "protecting" people from themselves and the criminalization of victimless crimes. You see, regardless of the rationale they give, I see this as the government infringing on the freedoms of these companies. And yes, even though they're large multinational franchises, they still have rights. Even though the KKK is a hateful organization, they still have the right to free spech. Everyone (and every organization/company) has rights, regardless of whether they're 'good" or "bad" organizations/companies.
