I agree that vulnerability of the poor is maybe not best remedied with bans. If you are poor your choices are already circumscribed, which I think was not really acknowledged in the article. This is a tough nut to crack. Thanks for the laugh about the 4 beds and 2.5 baths. Certainly more and better education of all kinds would be preferable to fast food bans. But paying teachers well to recruit the best, the brightest, and most dedicated takes money, and banning new fast food probably won't hit the bottom line in any big way. It is a twisted world.
