I think the Iran thing is going to come to a head too, whether or not they decide to pursue a nuclear weapons program. As it is right now Iran is not threatening anybody, but that is not really the concern. Even if you accept the popular translation of Ahmadinejad that has him calling for Israel to be wiped off the map, he does not have the authority to launch a nuclear attack.

Great if these issues can be resolved without military intervention. Whatever anyone thinks about Islam, the destruction of Iran would be a great loss to human civilization.
