I admit I haven't been to the poor parts of L.A. - so please correct me if it is not true that they have *grocery stores* in L.A. It could not be true that everyone gets 3 squares a day at Burger King unless they want to walk more than 20 blocks to a grocery store. People buy bread somewhere -- right? I'm just making sure L.A. isn't some alternate universe here.
