I don't seem to have your luck Wanderer with the other residents where my mom is. It always seems to be the ones calling out for help or something like that and I have no idea what sort of help they need. I have gone to get a staff member a few times to see if they could figure it out. One lady just constantly screamed. The staff said she sometimes cursed too and the only thing that calmed her for a short while was hard candy. I started bringing suckers for her. I haven't heard her in awhile so I don't know if something happened to her or what.

There was one gentleman that seemed rather pleasant. He asked me if I would take him to see a movie. I told him maybe next time and he just smiled and said o.k. But he was definitely the exception.

A lot of them can't even seem to speak or they are always falling asleep. I don't think I would have too many enriching experience at this nursing home.
