Yes, I agree the parents kind of over-stepped, but I also think his reaction was a little too much also. He did give them a key after all. He could have handled it a little better than cussing at them. They probably did think they were helping.
Both my sons are kind of slobs. The youngest was really bad when he still played with toys. After several tries of cleaning up, organizing, etc. it would soon be a mess again.I finally said the hell with it and opted to just shut his door. My poor mom would come over and try it again. I told her she was wasting her time but she never gave up.
My oldest son? Once he got to a certain age, he was washing his own clothes so I really had no reason to go in his room. He is more private than his brother and I wouldn't dream of reorganizing his space or throwing out something.
There must be poor communication between these parents and their son.
Actually I could use a little help now that I live in a smaller house and have not only my own stuff, but a lot of my mother's who is in a nursing home. I wonder if that man's parents want to come over? Ha! Ha!
