Congratulations. That is the absolute best (and really the only legitimate) argument I have heard in favor of this. You admitted that you are restricting the poor peoples' freedom, but you gave a really good reason why. I would argue that poor people should have the right to assume opt-out of some of the healthcare program and assume the risks of eating McD's, but you raise a pretty valid point that if the govenrment is going to pay for the healthcare of those people, then the government should be able to control their diet which has a real impact on their health. But my libertarian streak just wants to make sure that program is optional. Well done, sir, well done.
