I grew up in the deep south, and attended an inner-city New Orleans public high school in the mid to late 60s. I have never advocated for any kind of discrimination of anybody, don't recall growing up feeling like there was 'them' and 'us.'

When you label all white people (or any group) as one general type, and make derogatory allegations about them, you are revealing yourself to be an A-class racist, just like those you revile. You are feeding the flames of discontent within yourself, carefully protecting your hurt feelings. Get a grip, make the best of the one life you have, and move on. Times have changed. You can join those moving forward toward tomorrow, or you can get left behind. Your choice.
