Be glad you are being given the chance to see your grandma before she passes away. My Dad tried to protect us from seeing his father slowly degenerate. He was a person who meant so much to me and I never got a chance to thank him or say good-by.

Even though I know my grandfather wouldn't have understood my words or even known who I was, It would have been nice to see him.
