Snape was destined to hate James son, especially when he looks like him, acts like him, and has many of the same characteristics as him. Everyone talks about love and Lilly, nobody talks about hate and james. For snape, i wont say love conquers hate, but rather, at death... his idea (or ideal) of love supersedes all else. maybe...

I find Harry just as annoying as you, but its Harry's story. So, all the whiners about the limited coverage of hogswarts and/or the professors should remember ... its Harrys story. Its his arc, and I'm glad for it. This could have easily been 3 books.
