Sigh. Look it's a waste of time to get into politcal arguments, especially with people like you who spout this kind of attack without any evidence of fact and contrary to the known facts, but I just can't let it go. So welcome to an exercise in futility.

Democrats and liberals-the two are not the same thing-have been just as brave and aggressive as conservatives in battling this country's enemies. World War I happened during the WIlson Administration and Wilson was a liberal. World War II, the most destructive war in the history of mankind, took place under FDR's and Truman's watch. They were both Democrats. Truman made the decision to kill hundreds of thousands of people when he greenlighted the atomic bombs. The Vietnam War was largely a Kennedy/Johnson affair. There have been wars under presidents of both political parties.

I'm interested (again, why?) how you came to your belief. Was it when the current administration started equating liberalism with appeasement and cowardice or did you always think that liberals were spineless? Because if the latter, show me some proof. But if it's the former, let me ask you, do you or have you ever believed that Iraqis were behind or a part of 9/11? I certainly share your rage over that day, as all Americans do. But the Iraq War was considered before 9/11, was part of the neocon plan when Bush II took office. Read any or every book about the conflict written by a reporter or historian. I am not bashing Bush; I just think his record is very poor. If you disagree, show me the proof.

Sept. 11 was not a Saddam plot. It was used by this Administration as a reason to invade, included in the War on Terror. I think 60% of Americans saw a correlation and our government did nothing to disabuse them of this fallacy.

Yes, I am a liberal, but I would be just as offended if I was a conservative because you insult the other side rather than present a cogent argument, and you sully the intelligence of all fair-minded, reasonable people, including 99.9% of conservatives, who have never let hate define them.
