Sorry, that second to last paragraph should have read:

I care what my public servants do in their official capacity. If they are doing things in their private time that don't actually impede or impact how their job decisions are made (i.e. - not grossly allowing their vote/ influence to be bought outright), I don't care. It's a matter between that politician and their loved ones.
