Re: Use to be an EMT
by epbmhr
Just tonight we had a girl call 911 because she was in a neighboring town, and needed to pick up her daughter in our town (we later found out). She called 911 claiming abdominal pain, got here and got a room. The nurse went in to do vitals, and she asked how long her stay would be. When the nurse told her it could be a couple of hours depending on what tests the doctor ordered, she promptly left. She simply wanted a ride! Thanks welfare!! We should be charging these people at least SOME sort of co-pay!! If some of these people had to choose between $5.00 for a visit or $5.00 for cigarettes, we would have less idiots to deal with!!!!
