"BookScan-tracked outlets is 4.1 million copies sold
between 12:01 a.m. on Saturday morning (the book’s official on-sale
date) and 12:00 a.m. on Sunday morning... This figure contrasts with the continuously offered
one from Scholastic, which claims that an astronomical 6.9 million sold
in that same 48-hour period....book sold a record-setting 105 copies per second in the first hour of its release at Barnes & Noble outlets alone."

They may say this is the last book, but i don't believe it. This juggernaut has plenty of life left. So, the question becomes...Where does the next series of books begin? I vote for the founding of Hogswarts.
1. The founding of Hogswarts. Four houses --> four books easy.
2. Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot & Prongs' days at Hogswarts. This will excite the hard core nerdoides, but there won't be too much new material here
3. Dumbledore's life story. I don't know about you, but i'm really tired of this guy.
4. The epilogue kids. ho humm, didn't we just read 7 books bout this?
