But please, don't say something to your server if the kid is annoying you. There is NOTHING that they can do. Servers (and the other low level workers) are completely at the will of the little and big brats; in 99 out of 100 cases, if the server were to say even the nicest, most polite thing possible to the parents, they would get yelled at, insulted, complained about to their manager, and they'd lose a tip.

If you want to say something, ask to speak to a manager. They probably won't do anything either, but at least they might have a little more power over the situation.
