American, Christian and Jewish hypocrisy
by Uncle Squinky

No sirree, here in the US, we don't have such hate mongering in our text books, we leave it to the main-stream media and our political leaders to teach hate and to disseminate misinformation. The textbooks on sin by omission.

First, we have a holiday for a guy who didn't really discover America, but who did chop the natives' hands off if they didn't give him enough gold. American school children are fed this B.S. -- if not in text books, then just in plain old oral indoctrination.

Second, this is a country based on ethnic cleansing, if not down-right genocide. So is Israel. But we don't like to talk about this.

We're also a country that doesn't like to delve into the details of its political assassinations, even though they have had profound effects on our policies.

No, we don't teach hate in our text books; we just omit a lot of inconvenient facts about our nation's barbarities.

I'm not defending Saudi Arabia -- anything but -- but don't try to claim that the US doesn't none the less perpetuate many lies or sins of omission that result in plenty of hate and ignorance by its citizens.

The Christians and Jews who like to talk about the culture of death and hate of Islam, conveniently ignore all the bloodshed in the name of Christianity and Zionism. Why isn't the Christian-on-Christian violence of the last two thousand years ever brought up when the evils of Islam are discussed?

And why isn't the hypocrisy of the Jewish state, i.e. its actions that are not unlike those of Nazi Germany (ethnic cleansing, quest for lebensraun, using S.S. tactics in urban warfare, etc.) ever brought up when discussing the Israel-Palestine issue?

Citing Saudi Arabia and Wahabi-ism (sp?) as what is wrong is Islam in general is a canard. Ask most any Muslim Arab outside of Saudi Arabia: they don't much care for Saudis either. It is a backwards, nasty country, but it doesn't represent the culture of all other Islamic countries either. People who try to paint the picture otherwise are as guilty of hate and bigotry as the writers of these purported Saudi text books.
