Just because we haven't descended to the level of China, doesn't mean we haven't taken a step backwards.

Are you truly not bothered by warrantless wiretapping? Does the goverment suspending the rule of law not give you pause? Doesn't the fact that the US now advocates torture strike you as hypocritical?

I'm not saying that the government has no power over citizens, but it should only have the power given to it by the law. When our government deliberately breaks those laws, any of those laws, it needs to be reigned in by the people.
