obviously the author has compassion for obama. Right now the country's eyes are focused on obama, and the rest of his socialist coharts, (pelosi, reid) they are the ones who are playing games with the drillling of oil. The only reason they have not lifted the ban on drilling is that it is a republican idea, and it will work. which would look bad during an election year. look how much oil has dropped in one week since Bush lifted the executive ban. Speculation is huge in oil futures, besides all the middle income jobs it would create, and the flow of revenue it would bring, not to mention the decreased reliance on foriegn oil. take drilling along with devoloping more alternative means of energy (wind, solar, nuclear) we can lick this problem. what plan do the dems have besides just saying no to everything? Do they actually think it is fesible to live the next 50 years without oil? as much as they want to believe a magic wand can be raised, and all oil products can be replaced soon is not only dreaming its just plain ignorant, and by the way thanks for supporting japans economy, and not your own. i'm glad your honda has a dent.
