I was reading an interview (I think it was Salon) with McCain, and they asked him something like, "Why do you conflate threats to Israel and threats to the US?"

His answer was, "Because we [presumably he means we, the US] said never again."

The never again of course, refers to the Holocaust. That means McCain thinks

Israel(w/200 nukes) versus Iran

equals

helpless Jewish civilians versus the Gestapo.

Makes no sense.
