If you must argue against creationists & IDers:

Chris - I recall you saying (I believe while against D Souza) when you are against a creationist, you find it best to "highlight and underline" this point rather then debate it. If you must argue with a creationist, I have found getting them to admit what they believe is often as close to a win as is possible. Their belief system necessarily falls into one of these 3 camps:
1. Tens of thousands of scientists worldwide are conspiring with each other on a day to day basis to feed the myth of evolution and repress the ideas of ID. The scientists are publishing and confirming each others false findings in biology, astronomy, mathematics, paleontology, physics, and chemistry (I found this to be the most laughed at idea until Ben Stein made his movie).
2. Over 100,000 scientists have simply been mistaken about the evidence. The multi-disciplined scientific agreement confirming and re-confirming Darwin’s theory of evolution has been a sickening series of coincidences.
3. God (or the devil) has planted many complex lines of independent evidence as a test of our faith (to trick us).
Once the creationist commits to one of these camps, I would yield to your highlight & underline viewpoint, rather then arguing against riddles.
