But if you are intentionally dispensing an inaccurate subset of the information that is required to make a decision, and in particular you are doing so from a position of authority I suggest you absolutely are complicit. Our malpractice laws recognize this both for attys and MDs more concretely than just "moral complicity". Failure to dispense ALL relevant factual information is grounds for active tort.
So why let the SDak Lege off the hook for intentionally misrepresenting the factual information that pertains to all of the health issues related to abortion and pregnancy?
