America is collapsing under Friedman's policies. Even if they were bastardized, they had no chance of success. We need the hybrid economics of Keynes again. We rose to become the greatest country on the planet under those policies and cons pissed it away. Unbridled capitalism is as dangerous as unbridled socialism. Keynes understood that fact. A highly progressive tax structure with plenty of regulation will get this country back on track. Anything short of that is smoke and mirrors.
