You are very smug. I hope you don't end up like the MSgt I mentioned. You don't know what the future will hold. And don't lecture me about choices. I made similar choices to yours. But it what happens if Congress decides we aren't entitled to our reduced pay for reduced services, and as our retirement pay really is? There is always that danger you know. What happens if you plan for TriCare and then can't find a doctor that will accept it? That happens a lot. What happens if inflaction inflation eats away at your savings? What happens if you develop hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, lupus, Crone's, arthritis, Lou Gherig's, Alzheimer's,cancer, etc, etc. Have you planned for all those?

There are others who aren't capable of doing what you and I have done. I've found the difference between liberals and conservatives is that conservatives can't pat themselves on the back enough when things work out well while liberals thank God and count themselves lucky when things work out well.

It's time we learned to make government work for us instead of us always working for it. I will remind you that you are the beneficiary of socialized medicine. You work in the most socialized of all organizations.

When you leave it you are going to have a different perspective.
