I, rick12string, 40 year veteran bar band player, do HEREBY agree with this well written and thoughtful review. "Dark Knight" was a real movie......a summer gem...a thoughtful triste on evil and madness, and how often it takes evil and madness to defeat evil and madness......9/11 haunted this film, as it haunts so many films.....in an alternate universe, our WWII generation parents would have turned Saudi Arabia into a sheet of glass on Sept. 12.......12 of the 13 idiots on those planes were Saudi born and bred.......God, I wish my Mom and Dad's generation were in control that day in 2001.....Generation Kill would be playing video games exclusively......there would be peace.....right now....

Batman is like our Moms and Dads from that wonderful generation, that as I type, is dying off and leaving their pot-soaked, DNA-ruined baby-boomer pussies (Vietnam war veterans excluded--God bless them) to politically correct the ENTIRE globe in the name of our government......too bad Battie is a myth.....too bad a fine, luminous performance by Heath Ledger is shadowed by his passing.......
