Better yet, someone who believes the "Test the Faithful - the earth is young" idea needs to commit to one of the two following positions:

1. The evidence that the ID people present is correct, and God made an imperfect test of their faith (if evolution is truly debunkable, then the test of faith is imperfect).

2. The ID folks are incorrect in their data interpretation, and are arguing for the "correct" (to a creationist) answer (creationism), but by incorrectly interpreting the data god left.

Either way, the "test the faithful - young earth" folks find themselves at logical odds with the ID folks (beyond the fact that most ID proponents agree on the same general timescale as evolutionists - geologists - cosmologists).
