The BIGGEST CRITICISM of "Bush's handling of the IRAQI WAR" HAS ALWAYS BEEN that he INSISTED (AGAINST ALL of the recommendations of his MILITARY ADVISORS of that time) on INVASION without the NECESSARY MANPOWER to "Maintain Civil Order", "Safely Protect EXISTING Infrastructure" as well as "Rebuild Damaged Infrastructure", not to mention "PROTECT from (Arms) LOOTING"!!!
The PRIMARY DEMOCRATIC PARTY CRITICISMS OF IRAQ => NOT ONLY was it NOT NECESSARY... It was MESSED-UP IN ITS EXECUTION & MISMANAGED "After-the-fact"!!!
Then, they sat for GOD KNOWS (10 months) shouting "Mission Accomplished" while allowing a "Resistance" to build sufficient threat levels & strength to challenge the new Iraqi authority!
OF COURSE the "Surge" ALWAYS promised to regain temporary control over the situation! .... BUT the key word NOW has become "Temporary"! .... REGARDLESS of when the "Surge" is finally wound-down, the INSURGENCY promises to RETURN (Because all they've really done is taken a vacation until the "Temporary HEAT" is off.
DEMOCRATS argue that the war in IRAQ has been all but lost (due to extreme MISMANAGEMENT) & that sooner or LATER (If policies "Stay-that-course") the government of Iraq will collapse into yet another "Anti-Western / Anti-American Middle Eastern Islamist Headache"

have only succeeded in MOVING the current problems from IRAQ back into Afghanistan!!! .... Until we move back THERE... And then their plan is to move BACK into IRAQ (While never really addressing their "Safe Havens" in "PAKISTAN".... A nation that is oddly enough SUPPOSEDLY a "BUSH Partner Country")
