He’s certainly not making very many nuanced arguments in this thread. Maybe he’s distracted.

Anyway, I’ve never thought much of philosophies that by default privilege group power above individual self-determination. I think that most often the people who embrace such notions simply can’t imagine that the liberties they hold dear might be threatened. In other words, they can’t see themselves ever being outside of or threatened by the majority. They should get out more, don’t you think?
