There's a difference between being against a tax cut when it's not neccessary, and nearly a decade later seeing that raising taxes in a time of economic struggle is stupid.

There's a difference between not wanting to go to war in the first place, and knowing that the job must be finished when the war has begun.

McCain knows what torture is. You people minimize the true nature of the thing by calling what we've done torture.

I'm damn glad he voted against the GI bill. That's $50 billion that we don't have, it was a political move meant only to make Democrats look suddenly interested and careing toward the military. It took great political courage for McCain to vote against that bill.
