Granted, one piece of data is hard to interpret, one piece does not make a theory. That's why I proposed the idea of a repeatable experience, with a message; this seems to me the way to establish greater confidence in a theory, just as it would in science.

Sure, a one-off vision in the sky about a 'second coming' -- sure, we could dismiss that. But if this was the latest in a series of visions that have been appearing for years, would it be so easy?

The presentation that JV-12's god provides, OTOH, is the opposite of trying to be convincing. It's isolated visions given to improbable people in ways we often have no way to investigate or verify. Fatima, for example -- we have no way to investigate it anymore, we can't go back to that time. My impression of this is that JV-12's god is a tease. Almost makes me empathize with the protestants who denounce this stuff as the devil's work. :)
