My boyfriend and I share the cooking and the dishes equally. It's something we both like to do. Otherwise, we live in filth and squalor with the messiest parrots on earth.

I definitely know guys who have been raised to be clueless in the kitchen and who could happily eat nothing but instant mac-and-cheese and peanut butter sandwiches every single day for years, but my boyfriend likes food. He likes trying new foods. He likes to experiment in the kitchen. Apart from the occasional bizarre concoction he cooks up (oh God, the cream of corn with baked beans over rice!), I have no complaints about his willingness to do chores.
