Americans do need and should take the advice of Canadians because we are far more objective about what is going on in the US than you guys are. In addition, we are far more sophisticated and tolerant of many cultures than you guys are..While you guys are still struggling with a legacy of Black racisim, the city of Toronto where I live has people living here from all over the world. In fact, these days, people of colour make up over 50% of the population of Toronto. We also manage our economy and social programs far better than you guys. Our social security will look after Canadians in their old age for the next 100 years, while your social security is almost banjkrupt. We have had medicare for over 40 years and free medications fior those who can't afford them, while you guys still believe that medicare is a form of communism! The fact is that Queen or no queen, Canada works far better these days than does the US. You guys are in abig mess on many fronts, so you should be open to advice from your best friend and biggest trading partner. By the way, you guys get moe oil from Canada than any other nation. The belief that you are beholden to the Saudis for your oil is a myth. You actually have guaranteed security of supply of oil from Canada as long as we can get it out of the ground.
