My good friend W. has a Kegerator and a phobia of clowns. My husband and I were house-sitting for them for a week, so we bought the most hideous clown doll (diabolical green eyes, fangs, and giant knives) I have ever seen, and got him good.
We adjusted the pressure on the keg so it poured straight foam, then crammed the toy into the kegerator so all you could see was the eyes, the grin, and the knives behind the giant red shoes.
Then we left....
He called and left an incoherent message on our answering machine at 2 AM. His wife later filled me in...he screamed, fell over onto his butt (from the crouch in front of the keg) scooted backwards out of the room and then peered around the corner. To this day, he hasn't gotten rid of the toy because he wants to know where it is so it won't surprise him again.
It is sitting in his den, facing the corner, with a towel over its head.
My finest hour.
