Wasn't it just a few months ago that we were inundated with articles and news coverage about Gen Ys and how they were making gobs of money, had their pick of the best jobs, never had to work more than 8 hours a day, and had employers wrapped around their little fingers?

In fact, I'm pretty sure I read an article like that just yesterday.

I know the US economy isn't as strong as it was a few months ago, but I think there's more media hype than substance here.
