After WWII someone wrote a book about taking more naps.

After WWII some paratrooper wrote a tiny little book explaining that he, and some British paratroopers he jumped with got by on "less" sleep by taking frequent, very brief naps.

I wonder if that notion was ever considered. The author of that old book claimed that he could nap for periods less than the changing of a traffic light so I'm guessing he was talking about periods of several seconds.

I wonder if the earlier posters talking about the sleep demands of motherhood ever considered they may be taking frequent, very brief naps.
