One of the biggest arguments against doping is it provides one with an unfair edge that isn't available to other athletes. (The other, more powerful argument against doping is the health risk to the athlete.) I would say the fact that she's able to devote such a large amount of money to her training, money that isn't available to most athletes and which she largely earned because of her looks rather than her athletic performance, takes something away from her story even if she isn't using any performance enhancing drugs.
