what exactly do they have to offer that is BETTER than the spiritual paradise that we enjoy in our worldwide, loving brotherhood? Absolutely NOTHING.

I don't think they were trying to offer anything, except the hope of something better. While I will say I have found something better, I will not go into that right now.

But, what other Christian organization even gives ANY consideration to the blood issue??? Nobody! No other religious group but JW's (to my knowledge...correct me if I'm wrong, please) give ANY thought to the Bible's command to "abstain from blood", although Acts 15:28-29 puts this restriction in the same category as abstaining from fornication!

You are wrong, so I feel free to correct you. My Religion has always commanded the abstanance from Blood. However, this is in eating it. Like it says in Acts, abstain from the meat of idols, blood, and things that were strangled. In Deut. 12: 13 it says not to eat the blood because it is the life of the creature. Eight times in the Old Testiment it speacks against the eating of Blood (first in Genesis). So, while the command is not to eat blood, as it is desecrating life, no were does it say you cannot receive blood in medical treatments.

Jehovah's Witnesses are not like other religions...who are told to blindly believe what they are taught with NO scriptural proof whatsoever. (I know, I was raised Catholic, and was discouraged from asking ANY questions!) We are "taught by Jehovah". And our beliefs are strictly based on the scriptures...the only source of truth.

It would be good to say most other religions, as I have never been discouraged from questioning and I am not a JW.
