Re: Why we support Affirmative Action:
by spaceghost

With apologies to Jesse Jackson's appearance on Saturday Night Live

I answered your questions. Answer the following questions:

  1. Does the son of a poor Irish miner deserve less racial preferences than the daughter of a wealthy NBA player?

THE QUESTION IS MOOT because the daughter of the NBA player is IRISH too (can't make assumptions, right?)

  1. Should the civil rights of an Asian male be violated to counteract American colonialism, and Native oppression?

THE QUESTION IS MOOT because it is too vague to be addressed. Japanese internment during WWII, however, was wrong.

  1. Is redistribution based on "diversity" goals (though not rigid quotas) acceptable if it only harms individual Whites, Asians, Jews and men?

THE QUESTION IS MOOT because (as I posted earlier) redistribution implies prior ownership so unless you think Whites, Asian, Jews, and men have a 'divine right' to opportunity THE QUESTION IS MOOT

  1. Does the Constitution guarantee "equality of outcome" or individual rights?

THE QUESTION IS MOOT because nobody here is arguing for 'equality of outcome.'

  1. Can you provide me a hierarchy of victimization status? For example, who is more victimized: the son of Guatemalan or the daughter of an Apache?

Finally a question I can answer, the only victims are white males who have become a victim of this Marxist, redistribution system. Because they are the ones whining and complaining the most about the conditions in the country. They start posts so they can whine some more. I have a little cheese to go with the whine. See the quote at the bottom of the post.

  1. Is it racist to imply that Obama benefited from AA, and would not have been able to attend those top tier university based on his "B" average? What about Clarence Thomas? Does AA cast doubt on the achievement of these black men? Would Obama and Thomas be better respected if AA did not taint them?

THE QUESTION IS MOOT Affirmative action doesn't cast doubt on their achievement, your racist attitudes are the only thing that could cast doubt on achievement.

Since Obama’s father is Kenyan, no one in Obama’s father has ever suffered under slavery; does an American born black deserve more racial preferences?

THE QUESTION IS MOOT-That argument didn't work for Abner Louima, The cops didn't ask 'Was your father native born or was he from Africa?' Is the treatment he receives different because of this fact? That's the important question.

  1. Do gay, bi and transsexual people deserve to be "protected" by AA? Are lesbians bigger victims than gay men?

THE QUESTION IS MOOT Affirmative action doesn't protect anyone. It ensures fair access to opportunity. Men on average are larger than women so I guess gay men are 'bigger' victims

  1. Are the descendents of the Holocaust survivors or slaves greater victims?

THE QUESTION IS MOOT both are victims of silly victim questions with no point. Hell, I'm a victim of spending too much of my time with this foolishness.

  1. Why don’t Muslims, Arabs, Indians, Chinese, Koreans, Japanese, Jews and others need AA to succeed?

THE QUESTION IS MOOT we all know that they make up the new Justice League of Superfriends. The implication in your question is that all black people need AA to succeed and they are the only ones. What does that implication say about you?

  1. Does overcoming "adversity" impress you more that being the best?

THE QUESTION IS MOOT you can overcome adversity and be the best at the same time, but without overcoming adversity there would be no Hallmark movie of the week so I guess adversity wins, at least with the Neilsen ratings

  1. Did Thomas Jefferson say the US was founded on the principles of Adam Smith or Karl Marx? Why do those who most closely adhere to the principles of Smith become wealthy, while Marxists become mass murderers?

THE QUESTION IS MOOT however I didn't realize that Timothy McVeigh, Eric Rudolph, and Jim Jones were Marxists.

  1. Is Marxist equality more desirable than preserving our liberty?

Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice (and liberty) everywhere

Martin Luther King, Jr.

  1. Are the Jews so greedy that they deserve to die, or are the Jewish people adept at earning their wealth?

THE QUESTION IS MOOT-I think the term is false dicotomy, however I could be wrong, and if I'm wrong, the only possible explanation is Affirmative Action.

Answer the questions cowards!

"Who's the maddest people? White people....pissed off...the white man thinks he's losing the country. We're losing everything, AFFIRMATIVE ACTION, illegal aliens, we're f*$%ing losing the country. Shut the f*$k up, white people ain't losing sh*t. If you're losing, who's winning? It ain't us.....There ain't a white man in this room who would trade places with me...and I'm rich. That's how good it is to be white. There's a white one-legged busboy in here right now that won't change places with my black @$$."
