Blaming speculators for high oil prices

I don't agree with this article not because of the fact that I know a lot about oil but I some how think the same rules applies as do to the livestock industry. I have been around cattle my whole life (50 years so far) and seen cattle sold at the sale barn for as much as a dollar a pound but also a lot less, now figure into that about a 40 percent loss to the full weight of the animal in none edible waste, bone,hide,ect which can be used in other products to which money is still made, a normal tanned hide for living room decor sells for around 175 dollars other items is used in different ways to offset cost then we get to the meat, steaks, loins, ribs, just go to any supper market and see what it sells for by the pound. After you see that you can only guess somebody some where made money but it was not the rancher this also applies to the grain futures as well.
