Yes,

US foreign policies in the past 20 years have been a series of stellar successes. I would personally want to be associated with all of those achievements. I find it ironic that many Americans feel that "experience," i.e. a long association with the series of misadventures and tomfoolery that has brought this country to the state we are in now, is a plus.
