ALL apartments over 6 units in freaking NYC are freaking RENT STABILIZED you idiot jokers from HELL. WHat that means is that there are standards about how much you can raise the rent (which inculdes improvements, you can raise the rent if you improve, which is one of the ways landlords get rid of tenants undesirable to them)

Rent Control is a whole different matter, but, and there are very few of those left. Ed Koch had a Rent CONTROLLED apartment.

I think these right wing media people are either just amazingly stupid or just insane...they seem to make up things, and have a fit about them, and don't care that people know better.
