Does Daniel Engber think the rich are genetically superior?
by ChaoticGhost
The author states that one's personal body weight is determined by genetics, and is barely influenced by dieting or exercise. Ignoring for a moment that this is completely at odds with clearly observed trends (did humans suddenly mutate to have a propensity for obesity at the same time that food scarcity ended?), he also states that the poor are more likely to be obese than the "skinny elite". Does he think that rich people are genetically superior to the poor?
